Jeff was called as pastor in November of 2008. He recently served for five years as planter and pastor of The Church at Alden Bridge in The Woodlands, Texas. Prior to that he served for seven years as pastor of PaulAnn Baptist Church in San Angelo, Texas. Jeff has been married to Renee since August of 1988 and they have three sons, Jared, Caleb, and Micah. Along with preaching and pastoring, Jeff's passion is to develop men into strong Christian leaders in their homes, as well as in the church and at work. Jeff received his bachelor's degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and went on to complete a Master of Arts in Religion and a Master of Divinity degree from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in Lynchburg, VA. His hobbies include reading and golf.


Alan Reed
Associate Pastor

Alan joined the staff in 2004 as Minister to Singles and Missions Mobilization.  He and his wife Ashley have 2 children- Sydney & Carson.  Alan and Ashley have served as missionaries and church planters in Texas, South Korea and Canada.  When he's not working he enjoys traveling, golfing, reading and participating in sporting events.


Zach Richardson
Praise and Worship

Zach joined the staff in March of 2005 as Minister of Praise and Worship. He and his wife Stephanie have a daughter, Mackenzie and a son, Deacon. Zach has a BM in Church Music from Louisiana College and a MA in Worship from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Zach enjoys spending time with his family, working on cars, recording music, working around the house, and believes that his home in heaven will be wired with the NFL channel in HD.


Todd Jimenez

Todd has been at Yorktown since 1996 and has been on staff for 7 years. He and his wife Cynthia have 4 daughters- Bianca, Miranda, Alyssa and Christina.


David Taylor
Student Minister

David joined the staff in September 2003 as Student Minister, working with grades 6-12.  He and his wife, Sarah, have two sons named Ethan and Noah and a daughter named Lily.  He received a BFA in theater production from Arkansas State University and a Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  David enjoys hanging out with family and friends, encouraging students to live for Christ, fishing, hiking, camping, running, and most other sports or outdoor activities.


Michael Goodman
Minister of Missions/Young Singles

Michael joined the staff in August of 2006. He and his wife, Susan, are not strangers to Yorktown Baptist Church. In the early 1990’s, Susan served on our church staff, while Michael was the Director of Baptist Student Ministries at the now Texas A&M-Corpus Christi University. Michael received his BBA from Baylor University, his Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and his Doctorate of Ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served as a missionary in Scotland with the International Mission Board. He and his wife have three children: Lauren, Emily, and Walker.


Kristen Dreyer
Director of Children Ministries

Kristen earned her degree from Baylor University in Elementary Education. After teaching 3rd grade and Kindergarten for 8 years, she resigned to take care of her family-husband Allan, son Rhys, and daughters Kate and Emily. During that time, she has served as a supervisor of a children's Bible Study, Sunday School teacher, Yorktown's Director of Early Childhood, and now as Director of Children's Ministries. Kristen loves her job because it involves her favorite things: God and His Word, her family, and children!


Darrell Miller
Financial Administrator

Darrell and his wife Patricia (Patsy), along with their three daughters (Necia, Brittany, and Holly) are long-time residents of Corpus Christi. He earned his Bachelors degree in accounting from Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi (when it was known as Corpus Christi State University) and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas. Darrell counts it a privilege to be a part of the Praise & Worship Ministry. In the past, he has served on the staff of various churches as Music Minister as well as traveled as a full-time Music Evangelist. Woodworking, camping, fishing, and flying are some of his favorite hobbies.
